BC2 Master Server Maintenance
Mar 8, 2010 - 9:07pm EST
EA will be doing some maintenance on the master servers scheduled during the early AM on Tuesday, the 9th. During this time, you may not be able to log into your EA account and/or retrieve a browser list. A forum thread on the maintenance can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/yaa7pkq

BC2 - New orders activation delayed
Mar 5, 2010 - 3:45pm EST
DICE has requested that all server providers hold off on creating new servers while they work on an issue that is causing heavy server load due to the large number of servers currently running. A fix is in development to prevent the server browser from causing the heavy server load and new servers will be able to be setup and launched as soon as possible. Please note that while there is a delay in activating your server, your billing start date will only start once your server has been activated.

BC2 Crashing Status
Mar 3, 2010 - 4:12pm EST
We have tested R4 against servers that have been crashing and have not seen a crash since the applying the patch. If you have applied R4 earlier and still experienced a crashing issue, please reapply the patch to your server as there was a problem with the patch installer that was subsequently fixed.

We are still near the the end of testing the fix but it does look successful so far.

Please be aware that we will be forcing a patch update in about an hour of this posting to all those that have not updated their servers manually. With this force update, this will cause a server restart (not a crash) Thank you all for your patience and assistance in isolating this issue.

Dallas Router Issue
Mar 10, 2010 - 5:59pm EST
One of the modules within our core Cisco router in Dallas has failed. We are working on this as a severity 1 issue. An onsite tech is already working on the router to see if there is anything that can be done with the module itself to fix the issue. In parallel, we have another team driving a new module from a storage facility in Dallas with an ETA of about 30 mins to 1 hour. Keep in mind that this is not a complete outage, only a subset of the servers are affected. We will update when there is any progress.
