Paper Reports
18-year-old Michael Stone was killed when his car was hit head-on by a pick-up truck Driven By Seema Mehta

Saturday night, an 18-year-old man (Michael Stone) was killed when his sedan was struck head-on by a pick-up truck at Bundy Canyon Road and Monte Vista Drive in Wildomar, according to the Riverside County Coroner's Office. Michael Stone of Temecula died shortly before 8 p.m.

18-year-old Micheal Stone a Temecula man died Saturday evening in a head-on crash in the area of Bundy Canyon Road and Monte Vista Drive, sheriff's officials said.

At about 7:30 p.m., Michael Stone was the driver of a Toyota Corolla hit head on by a Chevrolet pickup that drifted across the center line on Bundy Canyon, officials said.

Michael Stone was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Three other teens who were in the car with him suffered various injuries and were taken to a hospital.

Investigators said the truck that caused the crash was driven by Cory Tavares, 19, of Menifee. No information was available about injuries Tavares may have suffered or why he may have crossed into on-coming traffic.

Because of the severity of the collision, the Lake Elsinore Police Department's Traffic Reconstruction Team was called to the scene and will be handling investigation of the crash.

Wildomar, California - On Friday, January 17, 2009 around 730pm, officers assigned to the City of Wildomar responded to the area of Bundy Canyon and Monte Vista concerning a major injury collision. Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles had collided head on. Members of Cal Fire arrived on scene and began to assess injuries. During this assessment, one of the involved motorists was pronounced dead.
Due to the severity of the collision, The Lake Elsinore Police Department’s Traffic Reconstruction Team was called to assume investigative responsibility. A preliminary investigation indicates a red Chevy S-10 truck, driven by Cory Tavares, age 19, of Menifee, was traveling east on Bundy Canyon. The Chevy drifted left of the center lines and collided head on with a silver Toyota Corolla, which was traveling westbound and occupied by four teens.

The driver of the Toyota, Michael Stone, age 18 of Temecula was killed in the collision. The remaining passengers in the Toyota, a 17 year old female juvenile, a 16 year old female juvenile and a 16 year old male juvenile were transported to an area hospital for treatment of various injuries. The identity of the juveniles are being withheld due to their ages.

I miss you so much little brother, we all do. You are the first thing on my mind in the morning, at night before I go to bed and through out most of the day. I feel as if this is a bad dream, but it isn't. I remember when you were on our Ventrilo Server cutting up laughing and making jokes and you use to run around our server yelling when a bad guy was trying to slime you. You knew what you wanted to be at such a young age and you were on your way to accomplishing it. We all were proud that you were and are a member here. It is an honor to have you as a brother and a friend in our family. Thank you Lord for allowing our family to have the years we had with you. I miss not seeing and hearing you, and not being able to speak to you. We are all trying to be strong through all of this, and I know that you would want use to move ahead after all most the graphic here were done by you. Lord please watch over my little brother.

We miss you and God Bless You.

Hey everyone, I'm Derek Jimenez and Mike was one of my best friends. I posted something similar to this on his press enterprise page, but i'll post it again here. He always loved gaming with you guys, and would call, text or AIM me with stories about playing with you all. His favorite stories were always of him getting banned from some server...which was always funny, He knew how much he mattered to you guys and how much you mattered to him. I'm also on here to let you know that since some of you are very far away it may be hard for you guys to get information involving the accident, Mike's family, and loved ones, etc...so if you have any questions feel free to ask on here, email at derekjimenez038@gmail.com or AIM me at Longview390 (not on much.) I'll be checking up on here often and if you guys post anything I'll try to reply ASAP. Also, there's a facbook memorial group that was put together, so if youd like an invite just search and add me, and while you add make the message thing say something about you being from Esc so i know who you are. RIP Mike, we all love you and miss you very much.

I had to find out about the TF2 server running "In Memory Of EscLemons." I am shocked to find that Lemons is no longer with us. This is such a tragedy. It was always a joy to play with Lemons and I hope that he finds peace. He was always ready to help with anything anyone needed. Even a clan tag signature. I'm happy and proud to say that I've kept the signature that Lemons made for me and I will wear it in his honor always.

Even when the clan was going through rough patches, I remember Lemons always having a positive attitude. He'll be missed.

Guys...just stumbled across the sad news and sorry to hear about EscLemons.

Michael was a straight-shooter through and through in more ways than TF2....a damn good young man from the short time I knew him.

Prayers to his family, friends and you guys who were close to him on Esc...keep sniping wankers for him!

Best to all,

Hey, just heard about this horrible news..

God, I remember countless hours that Lemons, Nes, and I would stay in our tf2 servers to get players to join. He was a very good friend to me and I'll miss him. He will be greatly missed and remembered.
